Stage 1.... Buick Behind The Church

Following the leap Monster Mopar Swap Meet inwards Indianapolis, I was nearly to caput abode when a friend told me nearly a Dodge Travco Motorhome sitting “not that far” northward that was brilliant ruby-red together with sitting on a hill. Looking closer, I saw a GS emblem on the grille. That definitely steps it upwards a marker of cool. Influenza A virus subtype H5N1 72 Buick GS is zero to sneeze at. But equally I snapped some pictures I saw on the front end fenders that at that topographic point was a emblem below the GS... it said “Stage 1”! I couldn't believe it, what looked to hold out a legit 72 Buick GS Stage 1 only rotting away behind a church. One of about 700 made inwards 1972. Knocking on the door, no 1 appeared. So I didn't trespass, only snapped the pictures from the route together with headed on my way. 



Driving north, I kept hitting upwards modest towns, finding a LeMans inwards one, cool erstwhile prepare car inwards another. Nothing crazy. Just earlier getting to where the Travco was suppose to hold out though, I came across to a greater extent than Buicks. Two of them looked similar normal Skylarks, but 1 definitely had the GS badge inwards the grille. Nobody was home, together with fourth dimension was short. So I kept on.



Not much farther upwards the route was where the Travco was suppose to be. Unfortunately the exact whereabouts were unknown. So afterwards roofing a proficient component division of the countryside, at that topographic point on a hill, side yesteryear side to the road, was the large ruby-red beast. So I began my long journeying home, thankfully finding a cool erstwhile diner to watch some grub for the long drive. Even amongst driving all day, I withal enjoyed the day. It doesn't bother me the fourth dimension I spent driving because It was all for the excitement of the hunt.
